The Concept

Fiftysix is a trust-based technical advisorship for founders and small teams making high-stakes decisions.

Most early-stage builders don’t need more information, they need clear judgment, direct cuts, and a steady partner who can help them move through complexity without getting lost. Fiftysix exists to provide that.

Sometimes that means roadmap and decision support. Sometimes it means architecture. Sometimes it means helping you choose vendors, avoid mistakes, and ship the right thing first. When builds happen, they happen as an extension of the relationship, not the business model.

The Inspiration

After years building systems, working in crypto and modern web stacks, and watching founders burn time and money on the wrong moves, one thing became obvious:

The bottleneck isn’t capability - it’s clarity.

A founder can have a great idea and still get stuck in:

  • unclear next steps
  • confusing technical tradeoffs
  • vendor pressure
  • timelines that don’t match reality
  • “smart” complexity that creates fragility

Fiftysix exists to be the calm counterweight — someone you can trust to tell you what matters, what doesn’t, and what to do next.

What Fiftysix Does

Fiftysix is designed for people who want to build something real, without chaos.

  • Advisorship (Core Offering) — Ongoing 1:1 support to make better decisions, faster. Roadmaps, tradeoffs, prioritization, and clarity under pressure.
  • Technical Diagnostics — A fast, honest read on what’s happening in your stack, your plan, or your team — and what needs to change.
  • Fractional Technical Leadership — Guidance that feels like a CTO without the overhead or bureaucracy.
  • Build Oversight — Help selecting devs, reviewing work, and keeping execution honest and aligned.
  • Targeted Builds (Selective) — When it makes sense, I can build or prototype directly — but only when it’s the right fit.

From Tools to Advising

Fiftysix started with infrastructure and tooling — work that supported permissionless systems and reduced friction for builders. Projects like Nodevin came from that era.

But the deeper pattern was always the same: people didn’t fail because they lacked tools, they failed because they lacked clarity.

Over time, the work moved toward what I do best:

  • seeing the real problem
  • simplifying the system
  • isolating variables
  • making clean decisions
  • helping good people execute without losing themselves

Today, Fiftysix is built around that.

The Future of Fiftysix

The goal is simple: build a roster of great people and help them win over the long term.

Fiftysix is intentionally designed to grow through relationships and referrals, not volume marketing. The real work happens in trust.

If you’re building something ambitious and want a steady partner who can cut through the noise, that’s what Fiftysix is for.
